Here Comes the Sun
Here Comes the Sun
By Dani
Description: Bea is a 110 year old lady and the last person on Earth who has seen the sun for the last time. She goes on her last adventure to bring the sun back and despite not being taken seriously enough, through her actions, Bea will help people realize that it’s never too late to accomplish something great. This is a work in progress because I still have to complete the “editing” lesson. I had the opportunity of cleaning up some of the narration at the beginning , making it shorter, and act 3 changed some compared to where I was originally going with the story. It’s been a challenging process and I am still not confident about my narration, but seeing the story “complete “ gives me an opportunity to rework some parts of it more in depth, and perhaps moving along with the animatic without the need of a narrator. Every single feedback will be very helpful at this point. Dani, this is incredible. Every aspect. The shot selection. The acting. The narration. The character design. The lighting. The lens selection. The dialogue. It's a tour de force. You told a complete story in six minutes. I can't wait to dive into the project history and watch the progression that brought you to this point. I want to see this on the big screen. I'm so excited. Keep going. Cheers.

Your work is simply wonderful, Dani! What an original idea! As I have told you in previous comments, I love it and, now that it is finished, even more! Your creativity is overflowing and it shows in the unique and emotional story you have created. I like how you highlight in colors like red and yellow the elements to make them more visual, like the drawing of the sun, the gift bow, etc. Your drawings are very fresh and cute and your stroke is super professional! Also, the use of perspectives, lights and shadows is formidable. It is entertaining and, at the same time, funny and tender from the beginning to the end. The expressiveness of the main character and the rest of the characters is great! The voices and effects you use are also very successful and truthful. It's a very visual story, it tells itself, and you are an excellent storyteller too! Also, I laugh my head off visualizing the scene of her (full of vitality and overflowing charisma) driving her scooter at full speed on the highway, hahaha.... I can imagine this story on the big screen, I'd go see it! ;) The final music is perfect for the title you used, I love this song by The Beatles! And last but not least, the moral is so positive and motivating: 'It's never too late...'. I love it! THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR ART IN ITS PUREST FORM, AWESOME WORK! Congratulations, my friend! :)

Love the premise! Especially the feisty 110 year old main character! I was about to suggest taking out the part about the Vet, since that seemed to be a fleeting remark, but love the way it was brought back around at the end! Fantastic job!

The character designs for all your characters and art style is so much like Pixar Style!! What a wonderful cinematic reel - truly professional! All the shots are well planed and executed - super cinematic! The sound effects are well edited...great storyline. I was super engrossed into this reel, and just got super attached to Bea's character. The motion in the illustrations can really be sensed in each frame, along with their expressive body language! This was a really energetic, cheerful and adventurous story, with a great moral. Awesome work!
