Hi, Jared! It's great to see you again :) As I tell you in May Exhibition you made such a brilliant work! Your story has captured my heart, thank you so much! It's so deep, simple and beautiful at the same time.... I LOVE IT! I really like the way you capture the protagonist's routine, the way you play with light and shadows (like when the light comes through the window), the great plans and perspectives your voice and the unique and nice way you have of communicating and narrating in first person... I think you have great storytelling skills! It's fabulous how you manage, through your clean and clear drawings, to make us identify with the character, with his emotions and feelings. It's all very poetic, I admire your genuine style. I also like how you reflect the original moment in which the main character reconnects with his imagination and his inner child and how he uses his imagination (in full color watercolor) to defend himself and overcome his own shadows. This reminded me that I once read a phrase that said 'imagination is the best superpower'. It's nice how you talk about it, extolling its meaning and value. It is a beautiful story with a bittersweet flavour, and I love the close and tender relationship the protagonist has with his dog, the metaphor of the castle, the part where he decides for himself for the first time what he wants, the magnifying glass reflecting a heart-swing and its symbolism, etc. I have only positive things to tell you, your reel is fantastic! I find it wonderful that the character is his own light and his own shadow, his hero and his villain, the one responsible for everything he feels and happens in his life (and it reminds me of a comic that I did a few years ago and that has many similarities with respect to this one, how curious...). In addition, we do not stop finding magnificent messages and morals that invite us to reflect throughout the story and its theme. Finally, the happy ending is perfect and round for me to close such a beautiful and deep experience. It reminded me of Clint Eastwood's 'Hereafter' movie, which I enjoyed a lot, like this story. I guess that this case is your own... if so, 'olé tú!' (as we would say in Spain, hehe, that is: bravo and congratulations on what you have achieved!) I wish you all the good open doors in the world! ;) PD: How could I get your book 'A door opens'? AWESOME JOB, MY FRIEND!

Nice to see your story again! I didn't find any new scene or frame, so I don't know what I can comment in addition. :) The message is really nice.
