Description: Act 1: Tiger Scout & Sumi I really tried to explore Tiger Scout and Sumi's relationship. I want to deepen it as much as possible. I really hope you enjoy it, and if you like it, and want to see more, you can see my exhibition from Spring 2023 Welcome to Feudal Valley which gets into acts 2 and 3. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch. It means a lot to me, and I can't wait to see what everyone else has made. ProTip: Watch at 1.25x speed. It plays much better. Tone

NOOOO! Not Sumi! I didn't want to love it, but you certainly created an emotional attachment to these characters in a short amount of time. The introduction of the other characters are also compelling. I need to know that the dog is okay before watching the rest ;)

Lesley, I'm so glad you enjoyed it. And I really hope you stick around in Story XP to see where the story goes. (Plus, I really want to see more of your soccer ball story. It's so accessible and funny.)

Oh no Sumi :( ! But wow I love this exploration of Tiger Scout and Sumi's relationship. Both characters are so well written. I loved watching this and I think it's a nice addition to your story as a whole! I also love how concise and clear your drawings are, it made it very easy to follow along. Great job loved it!

Nicole, I'm so glad you took the time to watch it. Receiving feedback as I work helps so much to identify the problems, and to find out what might actually be working.

It's a very visual and entertaining story, and at the same time tender and funny.... I love it! Your drawing style is very genuine and fresh, it captures the dynamics of the story perfectly. I really liked the scene where the light comes in through the window, really inspiring, and the moment when you brush the dog's teeth with the same brush, how funny! It's all very cinematic, a full-fledged animated short! From the beginning to the end it has captured my attention and my senses. The shots you use are ideal and the expressiveness of the characters, their movements, etc. are great! And what to say about your narration and sound effects, they are fabulous! I also marvel at how you capture the beauty and vitality of nature with a few moving strokes. The moment when the turtle enters the water is beautiful! The moment when the little dog is run over was very touching.... You knew how to make the audience feel through your genuine stroke to capture the emotion of the protagonist. I was left wanting more, I would love to know the rest of this story that, hopefully, has a happy ending. A hug, my friend, and all the best to you! CONGRATULATIONS, TONE! :)
