Wow, Camilin this story was so special. The editing, the music, and your drawings are so effective and clear. Even though this is still just drawings, I can totally see it come to life as a short animated film. I loved the message so much and you did that all without any dialogue! Incredible, I loved it.

Great story, I loved your style, it reminds me to the watercolor medium which I think it is perfect for this theme! I liked your editing, choice of music and sounds are great too, nothing too loud and you dont get too distracted with the music either, so I think the editing was perfect. Your story is relatable, clear, and has great structure too, but I couldn't understand why in the star the phone call was important, Is she visiting someone? and also it wasn't clear to me who was taking her photos until I read your description, at first I thought they were tourists. For me, the story works even if I dont know who they are, but maybe it is something important you want to say. Another suggestion is that in the end If she would see the photo first, maybe falling asleep with it and then having the dream and then waking up, will make a stronger impact, but it is fine as it is, just a suggestion. Overall I enjoyed watching your story :D thank you!

Absolutely amazing story!! Really great choice of background music and the visuals are really great. Each drawing, wonderfully caught the emotions of the protagonist. The story is certainly well thought and greatly executed. I loved how the older version of the girl meets her younger version - a great way to end the story (felt like a perfect cycle). I truly enjoyed watching it - was not able to take my eyes off the screen even for a second. Great work here!! :)

The new edits are great!! Also, that colored cover is super super nice! What nice blue colors... The pink is also very nice, and the cheeks are super the charm :) The music on the photo moment changed, right? It was more dramatic, it is effective. The new sound effects are also effective. The scribbles moving on 1:55 are definitely a hightlight too, very clear on how she sees herself, and something I also felt more connected to the character. The hug also is lasting longer, right? That made the scene more impactful, great job.

A simple yet captivating story about self love and acceptance! We’ve all had instances at some point in our lives where opinions of others affect our own images of ourselves, which can really eat away at our psyche, and we end up losing ourselves if we let it. I think you captured that very well here, and I love how when she hugs her past self in her dream, Because it shows that she’s finally learn to accept herself and move on. Your art style also has a very innocent feel and I think that is very interesting to use to cover one of reality’s harshest topics. Well done!

Camila, this is incredible. It's so quiet, and brutal, and beautiful. I can't tell you how much I admire it. There are so many lovely animated moments, and I love the delicacy of the linework. And there are so many moments where your piece can just breathe. Where your main character just blinks and it's so lovely. As I write this, it occurs to me that it's not just the linework that is delicate, but the storytelling as well. Though I know this session of Story X is over, I can't wait to see more of your work. Thank you so much for bringing this to the exhibition, and I can't thank you enough for all of your hard work.

Thank you very much for your words, it's the first time I've finished a storyboard successfully and I'm very excited!!! I will continue working on the story and animation. I hope to make this story my first short film.

It is a beautiful story of love for oneself that anyone can relate to. I also love the beautiful way it narrates itself with its beautiful drawings, its sweet and appropriate melody, its sound effects, etc. I think it's a great work, very authentic and full of potential and feeling. Moreover, the use of light and shadow is great and the drawing strokes are excellent and unique. It is one of those stories that should be told and shared with young and old to reflect on the importance of loving and accepting ourselves as we are in order to strengthen ourselves and continue to grow, and thus prevent the opinions or criticisms of others from affecting us and distancing us from who we are. I love everything about it! Brilliant work, my sincere congratulations, Camilin! :)

Thank you! I'm glad you like it as I think the sound effect and music can add more to the stories. I was nervous to show this story the first time, but your feedback gives me the strength and confidence to keep working, so thank you!
